Sascha Klein has studied English Studies and History at University of Cologne (B.A., M.A.). From 2014 to 2018 he was a doctoral fellow at a.r.t.e.s. Graduate School for the Humanities Cologne, during which time he completed his dissertation on the skyscraper as a heterotopic assemblage in 20th-century American novels and films. Since 2014 he has taught courses on American culture, literature, and film at University of Cologne and Macromedia University of Applied Sciences. As a member of Cologne art association artrmx he has been involved with CityLeaks Urban Art Festival since 2011 and is the organizer of all-year Urban Art tours.
